Monster Cleansing Solvent product assessment

For those who’re like most house theatre lovers and multimedia users, you want the best possible efficiency from your equipment. Yet with regards to cleansing your TVs, camcorders, camera lenses, excessive definition screens, and different video displays, you may actually be damaging your equipment and harming efficiency - especially when you use an ordinary window cleaner.

Whereas these cleaners can remove most filth and fingerprints, they often leave distracting streaks - and even everlasting scratches. Window cleaners also can drip all the way in which down a screen and into your components’s moisture-sensitive electronics before you may wipe it off. This can cause expensive harm, and even whole equipment failure.

I tried Monster Cleaning Solvent on my 50" plasma and initially it seemed to work fairly effectively, however as I seemed closely at a mirrored image in the plasma glass I noticed streaks! So, I received a flashlight and looked over the whole display and positive sufficient, there have been streaks all over. Now I'm not one to simply slap some cleaner on and a few swipes and I'm done. I meticulously polish the screen. I started over doing a very small section, applying cleaner to fabric, spreading on show, turning cloth to dry area, polish, polish polish - nonetheless streaks. Mind you I am doing this with a flashlight in hand, so each little flaw is visible. I found that the one technique to prevent streaks is to proceed working the damp fabric on the display until it much less damp, then flip to the dry space for polishing. Which brings me to a different problem . After doing the above, I noticed actually tons of of little fibers on the display, with some seemingly stuck to the screen to the place I had to rub more durable than I want to get them off. Even still once I did that there were more fibers. Again, did this with a flashlight.

Lastly, After getting every little thing seemingly good to go, I did a follow up inspection the day after I cleaned the screen with this Monster Cleansing product and seen what seemed to be a refined film on the glass. I took a material and wiped it off easily, but darn if it didn't come back in a short while. It seemed like some sort of mild condensation. Once more this was with a flashlight in hand. In spite of everything of this, I went again to my previous Mirachem Optix cleaner and a real microfiber cloth (the tighter weave sort that is used for lens cleansing). I did one half of the show solely and left the opposite facet as it was from the Monster cleaner. After a number of hours I went to inspect it once again and there was the haze on the Monster side, however the aspect I sued my outdated cleaner on was clear. After I say haze, it's not noticeable with out the flashlight, so most folks would not see it, however with a flashlight it's apparent, significantly on the black band around the actual viewing area.

I haven't tried this Monster Clear product on my LCDs and it might work nice on the plastic surface, versus the glass of the plasma. For me, it is simply not worth it. Get a great flashlight and test for yourself ...or do not and you may by no means know that it isn't perfect.
